For the 9th blog post of this week, I was thinking about making something I have not done in a few weeks which was an animated character, so I decided to make a character from an anime since it has been a while I made one. For this week I decided to make Shoto Todoroki a character from a popular anime called My Hero Academia. Fun fact the first glass painting I saw and that inspired me to do glass art was a glass painting with Todoroki on it, so I decided to make a glass painting of the first character I saw on glass. I started it off, as usual, I got the image I wanted to use then traced it out on paper then onto glass, but I accidentally broke the glass and got cut so I had to get another piece of glass and trace again after that I went off as I normally do and started to paint. Now with animated characters, we have to try to get all the different shaded colors for the hair or skin tone, and even on their clothes which I’m not the best at with skin tones in this painting the part with the shaded skin ton did not show up very well. I got done painting let it all dry, and saw the final result which was not too bad but not the best either. The eyes kind of mixed with another color just like in a previous anime glass painting I have done. The skin color was also a little of but overall it was pretty good. I might make another anime character to get better with the different types of shades the character has. I hope you enjoyed the painting and see you again next week or not.
